Muscat. September 12, 2022. Promoting a people-centered approach has been the hallmark of the Khimji Ramdas (KR) Group. In a function held at its corporate office, 34 of its employees were recognized for their 20 years of service to the organization. Of these, 16 are Omani employees from various business functions. The tradition of recognizing its employees started in 2010. KR directors and senior management team attended the function.

A healthy organization is a reflection of its employee well-being, said Anil Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas Group. “We will continue to uphold the tradition recognizing our employees, who are the greatest asset to any organization. The Khimji Ramdas employee recognition initiative is part of the group's strategy to be an extended family wherein everyone carries common values ??and works in an environment that constitutes an inclusive framework. The annual long service awards ceremony is part of the company's initiatives that recognizes its employee’s efforts and encourage them to scale new heights.

On this occasion, Ahmed Al Kindi, an employee from the Consumer Products Cluster said: “Since the time I joined Khimji Ramdas Group, the entire team has been a great motivation encouraging me to build on my strengths and aim higher. My work environment provides me with the necessary support to face every challenge that comes my way. Perhaps my most prominent accomplishment was completing my bachelor’s degree in human resources management. I was also able to complete a program, Etimad, which aims to develop national cadres in the public and private sectors. A healthy work environment raises the employee performance and their level of efficiency.”

Aida Al Balushi, an employee from the Human Resources Department at the head office of Khimji Ramdas voiced her approval saying “The psychological aspect is an important element in the performance of an employee. It builds confidence in decision-making. I have discovered my skills and capabilities I hold as an employee from the training and leadership.”

Mohammed Al-Rudaini, an employee from the Consumer Products Cluster stated: “My work environment gives focus to my learning and development. This in turn has contributed toward my successful journey. I must thank the management and leadership team and my colleagues for believing in me and encouraging me.”

On his long-standing career, Abdullah bin Amer bin Saeed Al Ameri, an employee of Lifestyle Cluster, said: “I joined Khimji Ramdas in 1999, starting my career with the company as a driver, and moving forward to became an official in the public relations department. Working for a key commercial department in the company, for me, has been one of the best achievements during my career. I would like to extend my gratitude to board of directors and everyone who contributed to my career development.”

Khimji Ramdas Group has taken efforts to encourage its employees at all levels to give their best.
