As the name indicates, Bahriyat (‘fruits of the sea’) encapsulates the spirit of the ocean, presenting a gastronomical feast for every palate. The restaurant’s decor features ocean-inspired elements, creating a picturesque ambience that complements its diverse menu. Guests can embark on a culinary journey with the restaurant’s signature dishes, meticulously crafted from locally-sourced seafood caught along the coast of Oman.
Hand-selected from the fish market by Bahriyat’s own chef, the restaurant’s delectable array of dishes creates an unforgettable dining experience for everyone. The thoughtfully designed menu, showcasing seasonal favourites and restaurant specialties that reflect the richness of the sea, include fresh oysters, grilled seafood platter for two, lobster thermidor, and traditional Moroccan Seafood Tagine. The dishes, the décor, the modern plating and presentation manifest Bahriyat’s contemporary approach that fluidly merges with traditional cooking methods.
The restaurant’s captivating marine theme comes to life through its decor, with cool blue tones evoking the ocean and sky. Unique design touches, like miniature jellyfish in blue lamps and a wall adorned with fish sculptures, create a magical ambiance, while the friendly staff provide a warm and inviting dining experience.
In addition to the launch of Bahriyat, Grand Millennium Muscat boasts other captivating dining options, including Café D, where guests can indulge in a delightful dessert spread and evening buffet called Bait Al Shukolatah in the lobby, accompanied by the soothing melodies of an Oud player. Available on Sundays and Mondays, between 6pm to 10pm. Bait Al Shukolatah is unveiling a new and captivating concept, offering an authentic experience in a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing evenings in Muscat.
